Any Biography should include basic statistics, even if they are boring… I went to the University of Iowa for eight years and graduated in 1975 with my DDS degree.
A biography will also discuss things like family, hometown, and profession…I’ve been married to my wonderful wife for 35 years and we have been blessed with four great kids and three beautiful grandchildren. We live in an oasis in Northwest Iowa, a lake resort area that is magnificent and beautiful and seemly recession free. My dental practice includes a five operatory building, utilizing most of the modern equipment available. We were the first dental office in Iowa to use a dental laser, we have computers in every room, dental x-rays are taken digitally, and we have been a ‘mercury free’ practice for over 20 years.
But after those normal biography statistics are out of the way, the question is: What sets us apart? Many other dental offices in the area have nice facilities, great families, and beautiful locations. What is it that we do, to attract clients to our practice? It’s more then jusy the system we have in place to keep us organized and running smoothly. It’s more then the average stuff. Our dental professionals are enthusiastic, well-trained and loyal-with very little staff turnover in the last 33 years. It seems that the happiness of working here is the philosophy of the entire office, both doctor and staff, that espouses helping the patient. We want to do what’s right for the patient and have fun with them while we work. If we can help a client by giving them what they want without hurting or scaring them, and instead make dentistry a pleasant experience for them, then we have done a good job.
